| Tanning | All the hides at “King’s Craft Taxidermy”
are tanned on the premises. By doing all our own tanning I feel
we have more control over the product. We don’t have to rely
on a fur dressers schedule and the hides cannot get lost or spoiled
during shipping. Using some of the newest, most innovative, and environmentally friendly products available, we believe our hides become some of the best on the market. At “King’s Craft” we are fully licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (possessing both a fur tanning and fur dealers license) to take care of all your fur bearing animals. |

| Rugs | All rug work done at “King’s Craft Taxidermy” is done with quality and longevity as the main concerns. Our rugs are finished with a beautiful double felt, ruffled, border. The interior of the rug is built with a premium quality quilting batten to give the rug the proper lift and full effect serious sportsmen demand. To put it all together our rugs are sewn, not glued. With the rug being sewn you can rest assured it will never separate and give you years of viewing pleasure. |
| Fish | All fish mounted at “King’s Craft” are mounted
to what most consider a premium quality. Your fish will be mounted
on a custom carved body, will have two eyes, mouth and gills can
be open or closed, all at no extra cost. Once mounted you have the choice of taking the fish, ready to hang directly on the wall, or it can be finished on a custom plaque with a nameplate and habitat. For those looking for something extra, we also do custom work. Some beautiful pieces can be created using wall boxes, glass cases, coffee tables etc… You use your imagination; we’ll use our skills to create something beautiful. |
| Birds | At “King’s Craft Taxidermy” we mount birds large and small. Licensed by the federal government, we can look after all your migratory birds. We mount all upland birds including turkeys, and raptors, providing the bird are accompanied by the proper permits. | Mammals | You can be assured that all mammals mounted at “King’s
Craft Taxidermy” are finished to a premium standard. High
quality glass eyes, proper nose and mouth detail, and a beautifully
tanned hide all come together to produce a mount all can be proud
of. Our head mounts are finished to hang directly on the wall; however, custom plaques are available. For your life-size animals, we take a great deal of pride in creating habitat bases. All custom made bases and plaques are created by a local custom cabinet maker, ensuring the customer a professional looking finish. |
